  1. is the game being televised by any chance:??????????? can someone tell me what station or is the game on the radio????????????????
  2. wow, like love the comment, i also agree that it will not be one leading scorer or go to guy, every night we will see different leading scorer, this team has to do it exactly as a team. every one on loose balls, every one rebounding offensively and defensively, a few more transition baskets this season, and every one will make free throws this year. too many close games last year. THE WATCHER~
  3. SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT OR JUST NOT A PRACTICE PLAYER? DOESN'T CARE TO SCORE AGAINST TEAM MATES? MONDAY WE'LL ALL FIND OUT. ARE THE BILLIKENS GOING TO BE GOOD, OR ARE THEY GOING TO SWEEP ABOUT 6 STRAIGHT GAMES RIGHT OFF THE BAT. 2 SCRIMMAGES AND 3 HOME OPENERS, WEST VIRGINIA. LETS GO BILLIKENS. MIGHTY MIGHTY BILLIKENS, WE ARE THE SLU CREW.
  4. wait so there was a scrimmage........... ? please fill me please who played well
  5. how did they look though? how did ad and rb look? fredricks? sloan? fish? io? jj? get back to me?
  6. i never said that he did play against d. wagner. he wasn't given the oppurtunity, ad was a sophmore on a team that featured bradon knight from pitt university , marcus toney-el out of seton hall university, jamar nutter out of seton hall university, marc curry out of delaware university, tyrone barley out of st. joseph's university, anthony actually started with this team until he had a stress facture break in his foot, fourth game into the season, ad returned after 4 weeks, played right away, battling brandon knight everyday in practice, ad returned in time for the states- was placed in the starting line up with this group i meantioned above, ad drew the asigment of d-ing the other teams best scorer, ad locked him up. the kid had four points he was an all-state senior guard out of christian brothers academy. Anyway, ad did, hell of a job, next game was the tournament of champions finals, ad did not see one minute of playing time, ad was heart broken, the kid was crushed, what did he do, he became the incredible hulk, he began working so hard at every aspect of his game. the following season AD single handedly brang his team back to the state finals they lost every one except for ad and jamar nutter who will play at seton hall university this year. ad lead the teams to the state finals and was the mvp for that game which they lost in overtime by 2 points. his stats were something like 19 points 8 rebounds 6 assists and 5 steals for that game, and who knows how many loose balls he had that game. ONCE AGAIN THIS KID IS SPECIAL!!!!!!! THE WATCHER~
  7. i'm from jersey i told i grew up watching this kid play ball
  8. ad was being recruited by rugters(big east) st. john's(big east) providence(big east) virgina tech(big east) thats a few that recruited him early. other big schools such as san jose state(wac) manhattan(maac)ncaa tourney team, southern conneticut state(nec) ncaa tourney team, monmouth(nec) ncaa tourney team wagner(nec) ncaa tourney team, iona(maac) ncaa tourney team. there are a bunch more but i just named the few off the top of my head from conversations that i had with his auu and high school coaches. this kid is a player, its good that he is not getting that much recognition from the fans but you have to love his style of play. he has a true love for the game. and he doesn't manuever on that court the way an average white player would. not to be racist. but anyone that knows basketball knows what i'm talking about. the defense, the passing, the handles on the ball, the shooting, never scared, the court awareness. he takes it at anyone, he is BIG TIME. A-TRAIN COMING THRU CHOO CHOO LETS GO MIGHTY MIGHTY SLU !!!!!!!!! THE WATCHER~
  9. No this is not anthony drejaj or frank drejaj. i am a fan of the two they played high school ball in new jersey in a county where there were not white superstar basketball players. only the two brothers from albania. i've been watching the two play for years. his brother comes from not even making the freshman team to being 15th man on the jv team to being all-county, all-area, all-conference, all-state, etc. not to mention he won two county championships and two state championships and was the leading scorer and leading rebounder for those two seasons. ad went on to play in the finals of both the states and the countys but never won. he too lead his team in scoring and steals and assissts and second in rebounds. he has matched up against some of the top guards in the country one on one, guards such as sabstain telefair number one senior in the country, omar cook, chris thomas notre dame, randy foye villanova time after time, in matter of fact they come from the same area in new jersey, they played against each other in the county finals. ad has out played foye a numerous amount of times. neway, the kid could play, don't under estimate his ability to take over games, i have and he has proved me wrong. and i seen him dunk on a few people during his high school career also. ad packed on a few pounds at college, when he came home everyone was thinking he joined the football in st. louis, he's built like a tank. THE WATCHER~
  10. ad was a last second pick up because he choose to be. early in the signing period ad was rucruited by many big east and big ten schools.
  11. the numbers don't are there. stop hating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE KID COULD FLAT OUT PLAY.
  12. anthony drejaj can score constintly at 15ppg 70-80% from the free throw line. i looked up some of his stats from high school. heres a little something for everyone to chew on : Marque Perry post season play senior year as a billiken 41 total points Anthony Drejaj post season play freshman year as a billiken 42 total points do i need to put the rest of the post season stats for this super sophmore that we have here at the billiken basketball program. new nickname super sophmore lets recognize greatness when we see it. good luck ant dre. keep working your ass off. THE WATCHER~
  13. ALL i'm sayin is that AD is better than everyone makes him seem. the numbers that i believe he will put up this year is: 15pg 4-5apg 3 threes pg at least 70 % from the free throw line which would be a 20 point increase from last season. 3-4 steals pg 4-6 rpg now, what do you think his number will look like?????????? THE WATCHER~
  14. what short memory every has, AD lead the billikens in scoring in the first game of the conference usa tourney. how many points was that again. 90 what percent from the field. what nba player had their mark taken down by him in the tourney. and thats after a first round bye he did this. meaning that he wasn't on a scrumb team and drop these numbers. he was behind alot of people. in matter of fact he came off the bench. what did he score in the second round, i don,t think he had double digits, but he also had a solid nit performance, what was it 12 points four 4's and a junior had two more points then him in the game. i'm not marque bashing or anything like that. but lets just take a look at what type of player that we really have here in AD. this no scrumb, he is no punk, when he's on the floor a difference is made. AD you keep up the good work keep, i'm just wondering what he's gonna be averaging after he starts sinking those free throws this year. watch out casue here comes the A-TRAIN. CHOOCOO THE WATCHER~
  15. anthony has definetly worked hard since last year. i seen the team playing pick up ball right before the season started, and this kid has matured physically amd mentally. to response about his bad shooting days, that was just a freshman who is going to be a great player playing it out. yes he did have some games when i was like "not another brick." but the kid would come back on the next possession and get a steal, defensive rebound, or scrap up a loose ball. thats a player. he has showed that he can fill that basket up also. and he does know how to get open, and last but not least he can pass that rock.his assists will go up dramatically this season and so will his points per game. go ant dre go mighty mighty billikens, we are the slu crew THE WATCHER ~
  16. whats does everyone think about this kid? my opinion is that he can be an execellent player at this level. last season he showed flashes of this 2002-03: Made 14 starts and was third on the club in assists at 2.2 apg … popped in 12 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from three vs. Minnesota in the NIT … matched his career high with three steals and collected six boards vs. UAB in the C-USA semifinal … set career highs in the C-USA quarterfinal with 27 points on 90.9 percent (10-11) shooting from the field and 83.3 percent (5-6) from three vs. Southern Miss … hit 66.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from three on his way to 15 points at East Carolina and his late triple finished off the Pirates … two first-half treys vs. Charlotte sparked the Bills at Savvis … led the Bills with a career-high seven boards at DePaul … handed out a career-high six assists vs. East Carolina … matched Marque Perry for the team high in assists with four vs. DePaul … led the club with 16 points at Louisville … poured in 19 points at K-State while adding five boards and three steals … pumped in a then-career-high 19 points vs. Grambling while shooting 70 percent (7-10) from the floor and 71.4 percent (5-7) from three … popped in eight points and grabbed six boards at top-ranked Arizona … made his first career start vs. SMS and impressed with 10 points, five assists, five boards and three steals … made his collegiate debut vs. UT-Martin with a basket and a pair of assists. WHO KNOWS WHAT HE"LL BE DOING THIS YEAR, STRONGER, FASTER, 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF COMPETITION, MORE CONFIDENT, ETC........ THE WATCHER ~
  17. yeah well do we have a reece gaines, dwayne wade, or a gardern on the billikens. all i'm saying is that we have talent to match up against neone. we just need to use our mismatches on the court thats all.
  18. the billikens will be much better than last year. if they play as a team and no one person try's to be the leading scorer every night they will do just fine. their is no one person that can step in and take the role of marque perry. marque shot the ball- alot. is that what we're looking for? if you look at a team like louyville, they never had a legitamate go to guy, yet they were ranked top ten all year. same goes for marquette, arizona, no real go to guy. the go to guy needs to be the hot hand for the night, who ever is stroking the ball that night, who ever has the mismatch inside. once the billikens stop forcing the ball and all of the media and the bills fans stop trying to find out who is going to be the next scorer, thats when the bills will take it to another level. go billikens, lets kick some ass this year. we're way to good to play in the NIT, this year we're only looking to go to the tourney, watch out cincy, louy, memphis, choo choo , the billikens are coming into town, they look like a bunch of body builders, they have been working hard all year long.. this is the express train, no stops, we're choo chooing right to the finals of the conference tourney, then the ncaas. choo choo thats the new anthem for the billikens. we have 6'5 pt guard in slippery like fish, 6'2 combo i'm gettin to the whole no matter whos on me in reggie b., 6'2 combo linebacker ready to take on neone in his way in ant dre, 6'7 wing/ shooter/banger in sloan, 6'10 wing/power finesse forward in zeeek, 6'7 wing/ power jumping j- square, 6'8 power fullback in T. fredricks, (choo choo), 7' center rebounder, shot blocking presence inside in the big i-unit and he is definetly a unit not very athletic but gets the job done in side, we also have the 6' speedy hunt, 6'2 combo damar johnson(athletic) type darren, And last but not least big not gonna be nice byrce, meaning that he is not that aggressive for his 6'10 frame but after a red shirt year and hangin with this very intense billiken team and coaching staff and personal trainers, he'll be bryce not too nice. lets get em bills choo choo, we are the billikens mighty mighty billikens, make way for the bad guys, this is the slu crew!!!!!!!
