I met the Asst. A.D.- Business and Finance(I forgot his name, kind of arrogant) for the SLU AD department, he said that we are no where close to building the arena. He said we need more donations and it doesn;t look like it will be built until 2008.

Hell, hse is a lot better than Pizzotti. Pizzotti sucked big time and I wasted my money buying season tickets but with Gray I thiink I will see a great improvment with the team. Jill was a terrible coach and communicator. I heard she treated her staff like ######. THe one story that amazes me that Ihave heard was that she had her Graduate Assistant coach start showers for her after practice and get her oil changed in her car. Bascially, he was glorified *****. I couldn't believe that story when Iheard that. No wonder she had so much turnover in her staff. Thank god we have SHIMMY!

They did pay for all the men's and women's basketball cell phone/ Plus, they also paid for soccer and volleyball. Why would the school reimburse the coaches when they could just pay for the phones all together. Again, I worked at SLU and know this for a fact. Biondi doesn't believe that sports are huge factor to Saint Louis University. Name one school in the nation that is Division 1 that does not pay for their coaches cell phones. I know TCU,Coastal Carolina, Mizzou, Rhode Island and hell even VMI does and they are a military school. SO, I know this is true regardless of what you think, I AM RIGHT becasue I just left SLU this past year!

It makes you wonder what Biondi is thinking and what the coaches are thinking.

All the coaches still have cell phones, but they have to pay for them out of their own pocket, which most D1 schools pay for the coaches

How many people have left the Athletic department since Levick arrived? Jim Braun, John Garrison,and Koshae Irby. Thats a big turnover rate in that short period of time. As of right now they have not hired anybody to replace those guys and its July already! You can not blame the promotion staff becasue there is nobody there. Blame Levick and Flanagen(sp). Did we hire the right AD for the job? Look at Levicks monthly message, as AD why would bring your personal life into the message. nobody cares about your daughter getting married, all we care about is the Arena going to be built? By the way Biondi has taken all cell phones away from coaches. He no longer will pay for them, he says coaches are not that important? We consider ourselves a big D1 school and we do not pay the coaches cell phone bills, come on every coach in the A10 has there cell phone bills payed by the school Question for everybody, Did we hire the right AD for the job? I think we could of done better!

That young coach was Spoons asst for a long time Mark Bernsen. Had some stints at D1 level mostly asst though. He went back to coach UMSL for 3 yrs but left, he hated the AD there. Too bad he cant hook up SLU with any of his JUco players at Moberly, watched them play this year, they might of beat SLu this year

There are plenty of good baseball players here in SAINT LOUIS if he had the money to get them. BUt the AD only cares about soccer and men's basketball. Donate some money to the baseball team if you are goingto ***** and moan. All you are is some middle age 40 year old man who never amounted to anything in sports and now trys to tell everybody that he knows a lot about college sports. Stick to selling insurance or whatever you do and watching your daughter's softball games. I am sure she is a great softball player but she probably will not even be good enough to play at SLU much less John Logan Junior College!

So do I! MAybe I am wrong, I hope but that is what I was told by my daughter and another teacher. I hope it is not believe me if he doesn't get the SLU job I doubt it is going to be because of poster on a message board. Probably not. The problem with JILL was that she made a $150,000 a year unlike the baseball and softball coaches they do not make that. The answerer is probably not. WOnder if JILL has found a job yet. I feel bad for the school that hires her or the coach.

Rolfe's wpuld be a very good coach but only one problem. WHy is he being fired by IWA after such a great season. He screwd himself. The story goes is that he had an affair with another teacher at the school and his wife cofronted him in front of his class and he admitted it. So, the reason IWA is pushing for Rolfes to get the job is to make it sound like he left on his own terms and not make a big deal out of it. I do not think you want him as your next head coach. But what I do know is Cheryl is considering the two assistants that were on Jills staff as canidated for the coaching position.
