So what?!? The way I feel about Notre Dame is only about half a rung below how broy feels about Mizzou. Complicated by the fact that my best friend's oldest kid is a senior at Notre Dame and his eight-year-old calls my answering machine and sings me the Notre Dame Fight Song every time that no-offense, luckier-than-the-Atlanta-Braves team wins. I find it extremely uplifting to know that ESPN thinks ..... "thinks" mind you .... that they could start out 0 and 7 this year. Hope springs eternal.

I am not a big notre dame fan but this video is very good. All that tradition, its more than just football there, football is big, but that golden dome is beautiful, Our Lady looking down at us, been up ther once it is cool campus saw the golden dome coming off the highway. Still not big fan of the irish though but they do have cool campus, Too bad SLU doent have the tradition ND has, I dont think SLU could ever make a video like that for there basketball program

Excellent video and a great tradition. Whether or not you like ND, it is one of a kind. However, in the video the demonstration on how to throw a football... Knute Rockne and ND notwithstanding, the original patent for the forward pass belongs to St. Louis University.

"The First Forward Pass" by Philip A. Dynan in UNIVERSITAS. Sorry I don't have the date, but I'm sure UNIVERSITAS could provide that information.

SLU could do an impressive video as we have lots of traditions. It would just take commitment to produce it. In fact we could begin with finding a new song. The Saints... ain't great. How about to the melody of St. Louis Woman -- St. Louis Billiken. It's time to be creative.

Would you buy "hope springs eternal" and "miracles do happen?" I guess not. The exact phrase was that they could go 0 and 7 over their next seven games .... my bad ..... making them 1 and 7 as you have rightly pointed out.
