mcglotherirvin Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 according to the sagarin rankings, the A-10 was a slight step down from CUSA and has been for the past five years (check the archives). however, i don't see much of a difference, especially if the A-10 drops those bottom feeders. i think fordham has won 5 games in the last two years. that kills the entire conference's rpi. teams like duquesne and richmond don't help either. but i guess every conference has some bad teams. houston was pretty bad over the past few years. also, if this were to be the move the A-10 will be getting what many think is the best team from c-usa this year in charlotte. lutz has done an unbelievable job and has one of the nation's best recruiting classes coming in. i say we take this offer without hesitation. without louisville and cincy, cusa is nothing compared to this. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/bkc0203.htm Quote
thetorch Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 I would be happy if the A-10 dropped Duquesne, Fordham, or LaSalle, but Richmond is worth keeping. Thay have a decent history and have soem of the biggest NCAA tourney upsets in history. Quote
