Fundraising plan Redesign is 10,000 seats, plus two practice floors, all offices (conditioning, medicine, coaches, all from West Pine). 18-20 Months to completion from Groundbreaking. Should know better timeline once the redesign is finalized which was waiting on the approval. My Speculation: So if they break the ground in June 06 then FEB 08 is the completion date for 20 months. That would be in the middle of the season. Not sure if they would want to make a switch in arena in the middle of the season because there could be unforeseen circumstances making it longer. Or maybe a contingency plan w/ Savvis could be agreed upon. So at least by Liddell and Lisch's senior year they will be playing on Campus. I really hope we are a team to contend with at that point. bills16 Posted February 19, 2006 Share Posted February 19, 2006 i know when redbird arena opened up at illinois state university , it was during the season, something like a quarter to a third of the way through the season. not an ideal situation but possible.
