If the checks aren't found to be anything but university stipends, or non-existent, then the NCAA would be more likely to slap us for lack of institutional control over our program. Following is a quote from one of them along with a link to Gordon's article from 2001 talking about losing Whaley to Cincy. ------------------------------- "I remember the Mizzou fans AND Quinn Snyder trashing UC after Whaley decided to commit to the Bearcats.
