slu72
haven't been commenting because haven't seen anything only what is on the board. Sounds like the team has some serious problems especially on putting the ball in the hole. Thing that is really bothersome though is we are losing games right at the end. All three losses according to the paper were off blown leads. Interesting that before the season most concerns were on the D side of the ball. That seems not to be the problem to this point. What four games in and only 1 team has cracked the 60 mark. Of course, let's not lose sight of the competition. We go against the likes of Charlotte, Zaga, UL, etc they are going to be near 70+ unless they are having a major off night. We better figure how to take it to the hoop and or we maybe looking at about 10-11 wins this year and praying hard for next year to get here quick. Quality Is Job 1
When Wisconsin lost to Michigan State in the Final Four, it held even the Spartans to less than 70 (less than 60?). It's not that this year's Billiken squad is anything close what Wisconsin was that year, but they should be able to hold most teams down just as the Wisconsin team under Bennett and Soderberg.
