kshoe
So many have asked what time the game on Sunday will be and the story from the NCAA is that they won't announce until after Friday's games. Personally, I think its ridiculous that they make people wait to know these things, but it is what it is. That being said, I think we can narrow it down with some certainty. Assume the following: - TBS/TNT/Tru announcers don't do CBS games and vice versa. - Whatever announcers we have for Friday's games will stick around and do Sunday. It's highly unlikely CBS or TNT want the cost of moving announcers from site to site. - We will be the 2nd game in the Columbus region on Sunday because we play in the Evening session on Friday. - We have TBS/TNT announcers on Friday (Tim Brando and Mike Gminski) http://bayarea.sbnation.com/california-golden-bears/2012/3/12/2863714/ncaa-tournament-2012-schedule-time-cbs-tnt-tbs-trutv-cal-south-florida Conclusions: We will be the 2nd game on one of the TBS/TNT Sunday evening broadcasts. Here are the potential start times: 7:30 CT (TNT) 8:30 CT (TBS) 6:30 CT (TRU) http://basketball.about.com/od/ncaatournament/a/March-Madness-Television-Schedule.htm

Drive back through the night or fly back early Monday (and I have to work)...Yikes.
NashvilleBilliken
My guess is the whole thing is based on $$. They need to wait to see who progresses...then they figure out how to make the most money. Since we WILL be playing Michigan State, we will probably get a prime time slot on the station who has the most viewers.
Prairie Bill
Assume the following: - TBS/TNT/Tru announcers don't do CBS games and vice versa. Tim Brando (CBS Sports Network, daily at 9am) is working our Friday game on TBS He favors Memphis in our game, and I think Michigan State to win out. I will be driving back from Mississippi to St. Louis and would have a chance to see most of it. Also, I won't have to depend on my Iphone for radio or video.
