xubrew
you guys have been AMAZING in the cusa tourney so far!! i have admired brad soderberg even before he arrived at saint louis and i believe you guys are on the right track. i love watching you guys play. the box and one defense is great when the players play it as hard as you guys do. i think that there are far more good times to come for you guys than bad. in the event that you don't win the cusa tourney, this season is by no means a failure. you guys are going to be winning a lot more games than you'll be losing within a year or two. the good times will come. even though these guys may come up short, they still bring their lunch pales every day and really give it their all. you can't boo a team that plays that way no matter what the final result is. i'd really like to see the slu community (students, alum, employees, etc) eventually get behind this team. a white knuckled, blue collared team that is well coached is a fun thing to back. obviously, you guys are the die hards and know that already. congrats again. best of luck against memphis. i had a feeling that cusa would be one of the more exciting tourneys and by no means has it dissapointed. xubrew
BleacherBum593
After last Friday nights come from behind victory, I wrote that the Billikens needed to show 160 minutes of intensity this week, similar to the last 10 minutes of the Houston game. They've now shown 80 minutes of that intensity. 80 TO GO. BRING IT HOME.
Schasz
I'm feeling that great attitude and I have a hunch our guys feel the same way...now let's just take care of business tomorrow night VS Cincy. Let's Go Bills!!!
SShoe
Ian had 9 points, but even bigger, he had 5 boards. Izik had 14 points, I think eight of them were in that last 10 minutes of the game. When we can get inside scoring we become a team that can play with just about anybody. Big if, though. Great game. Fun to watch. Drejaj also had a strong second half, not only hitting big threes, but really dished the ball well after strong penetration. Reggie was Reggie and Fish was Fish. Really exciting win and I'll see you all in Cinci. SShoe
