philliken Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Nothing to do with Billiken Basketball, but there is an interested stat that occured in the world of baseball tonight. Slugger Frank Thomas hit 3 homers tonight at Fenway. 2 off Wakefield, one off of a reliever. The amazing part about this is that the ONLY other time in his career that he hit three homers was 11 years ago not only at Fenway, but all 3 blasts came off Wakefield. If that's not enough, it happened almost exactly 11 years to the date (last being Sept 15 1996). Apparantly the Big Hurt likes to play in Boston in mid-Sept.
