Quality Is Job 1
New discovery! If I click "multi-quote" in a thread and click "new topic," I can quote what was in the original thread and start a new topic with a new subject. I'm going to try to use "moderation options" to merge this topic into "Trying to learn how to reply."

One drawback is that the subject of the merged topic is lost.
