Sheltiedave Posted May 8, 2007 Share Posted May 8, 2007 DrB, why does Biondi move on the charter at the END of the school year, when dissent and the ability to hold significant discussions and seek student body input is at its lowest ebb? This follows his MO for all controversial decisions - as when he sacked Frs. Doody and Barry, tried to implement the graduation head fee, and most recently arbitrarily abolished the graduating nursing class pinning ceremony. It just means so much when my wife recieved her pin in the mail today, with no one in DuBourg Hall caring a fig about decades of tradition. As for the UNews, it is supposed to be the student voice of the school. Some years there are truly outstanding writers and events that are brilliantly captured. Other years there are average and below average voices on paper. The charter has been an adequate document for a number of years, and the UNews has won numerous awards in the past.
