Dayton about to lose convincingly to bottom feeder St. Joe’s. I’m curious if the board still thinks the Flyers are a good basketball team?
Seemed like a majority thought Dayton was better than us which is laughable.

Bills down 16 spots to 48. VCU down only 4 spots to 35 after a home loss to GMU. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I suppose because we weren’t competitive?

Bonnie’s scorching from 3 in the 2nd half against Davidson. They look to be closing it out.
Announcer thinks Bonnie’s have the “best rebounding guards” in the conference. Like Jordan Goodwin and Fred Thatch don’t exist.

I agree Bell could be the better anchor right now in our defense. For some bizarre reason, Has has been virtually non existent defensively. Arguably his best attribute in his 3 years developing at SLU was his ability to lock up your opposing big and alter everything that can into the paint. He causes no discomfort at the rim right now and I don’t understand it because he is an elite run protector.
We will see what happens. French was preseason 2nd team all conference and one of the best bigs in SLU history. This team goes as Jordan Goodwin goes, but he needs his sidekick.

this year it seems we maybe want to be a run and gun team.. but don’t get enough fast breaks.. maybe we want to be a high scoring, shoot you out of the gym team.. but not consistent enough from outside..
don’t have an identity yet except a team that plays mediocre defense and CAN beat good teams IF we shoot well.

now is that ford's fault? did the players not do what he instructed? i dont know. but last night wasnt good and the biggest no shows were our three all start seniors imo. crutcher destroyed us again even after spraining his ankle.
last, wtf was ford doing playing yuri down the stretch? the game was long gone and all that could happen happened, he turned the ankle again. look ford is the best recruiter the billikens have ever had by far. and in truth at this point in billiken time, that alone keeps ford as our coach maybe forever. and i believe he is the most inspirational coach getting the most out of the team on pure emotion i have ever seen on the billiken bench. i am still all in on travis ford. but you have to admit......
player development? take a look at the 2021 french
practice coach? what the hell did we see last night? did they even review the last game?
game coach decisions? yuri playing on a delicate ankle when we were losing by a million points? or once again, not getting up and down the floor and letting dayton set the pace?
i dont think we have to worry about ford going anywhere.
Agree with most points here but refuse to believe a team that lost to Fordham is better than us
