Yeah, and now NM is solidly the two main polls and the Bills are lingering the high 20s. I gotta wonder who will be more influenced by the BPI, coaches or AP? (if at all). If a team like SLU is significantly different in the BPI than in the other polls, I wonder if it gets the attention of the voters in the other polls and they look a little bit closer to see if they are missing something. Maybe that translates to a higher (or lower) ranking in the other polls. Any evidence to suggest that this occurs with the RPI? Or maybe some of them just think, "naw, its just another dumb formula" and ignore it altogether (TMI)....

Just wondering how New Mexico's upset of UNLV will affect their BPI...they are 22nd going into today. Especially with momentum as part of the stat...they have now won 7 in a row and beaten two ranked teams (in the usual polls...but, UNLV is 23 in BPI and SDSU is 46th so...maybe they don't budge?)....still trying to figure out how we are ranked so much higher than them.

Yeah, this is one I've always floated at parties or with my buddies, but never was really serious about it. It would be fun though... and are any of the Loyolas good enough to include?
