  1. Hakim Saintil 2013 PG was name dropped on BillikenReport.com discussing the Billikens. On Rivals.com there are 9 schools mentioned that he is considering, none being SLU. Anyone finally get a hold of the name of the big who was in attendance at the LaSalle game?
  2. I agree with every part of this. It will be interesting to see if Whitesell can get a decent head coaching job offer after this year.
  3. Pretty sure Rick Ma said starting only matters in high school ball.
  4. Someone should have reevaluated the original price point on those tickets if they really sold for 5x face value.
  5. Also of note: The average attendance for the year's 19 home games was 7,673 per game overall and 9,710 for conference home games. Others of note: Creighton...... 17,155 Dayton.......... 12,438 Xavier........... 10,155 Butler............ 6,852
  6. I heard someone tell me they paid $250 for one ticket. And I heard someone else tell me that they were $500 for floor seats and cheapest was $100. I found this hard to believe.
  7. I know we have Crawford. Are there any names being thrown around for spring signings?
  8. *busiest. But that doesn't mean profit.
  9. Muse SLU MBB Mike Epps Cheerleading The video shows a 48 hour time lapse in 4 minutes. Obviously there's no easy way to get numbers on total ticket sales and prices, but I heard the tickets for Mike Epps were $100 - $500 per seat. Is that right??? Attendance for the MBB game was 10,272. I wouldn't be surprised if that was over $2 million in ticket sales revenue for events in a 2 day period. I know most of that money doesn't go to SLU as profit, but I bet some of it does. Anyone know how profitable Chaifetz Arena is annually?
  10. TT just tweeted 16 now. That link said updated at 5 AM
  11. That's old bro. Get a twitter. We may be 16 but that's old.
  12. That is true. I think we can get at least a short term contract out of him.
  13. Expect it to happen before April 17. JC isn't greedy. We will offer him a reasonable contract and after some fine tuning he will accept it.
  14. Keanau Post is committed but not signed with Mizzou. It's crazy to think how far we've advanced since his name was surfacing. I think right now, SLU would be a better option for him minus having to play 1 more year in the A-10. With him and Dwayne et al, we could have the best front court in the country. Alright I will put the Kool Aid down.
  15. Is Jordan Barnett still considering SLU?
  16. http://www.hark.com/clips/smdtyybvgy-see-a-game-show-not-be-on-a-game-show
  17. 15th in coaches poll. So close to edging Marquette who dropped 7 spots.
  18. spin the hype cycle. churn the butter.
  19. Tom Timmerman informed me that the C7 reportedly will in fact be picking up part of exit fees. That makes a little more sense. But hell if we can tap into that TV revenue I say we pay our own exit fee.
  20. I don't understand how the contracts all work, but if we pay 2 million and get into a league a year early that pays $3million per year for TV revenue, Isn't that better than staying in the A-10 for our 400k TV revenue and then paying 1 million to leave? TV REVENUE - EXIT FEES: situation A: + $4 million situation B: + $2.4 million You gotta spend money to make money. But like I said, there's a lot of contract stuff here that I admit I don't understand and am trying to sort through here.
  21. I just don't understand why the C7 pays for the exit fees. Doesn't the 'exiting school' (ie SLU or Creighton) the ones that have to pay the bill?
  22. "Catholic 7 can say they'll add Xavier, Butler without even talking to them because they know they'll say yes." -TT pretty funny but so true.
  23. Those exit fees aren't paid by the C7.
  24. Then why are the reports saying they will be in before us when we are hours east of them?
