I don't give a sh*t what anybody says or if you were located in Alaska, I want more teams like St. Louis in the a-10 and less teams like St. Bonaventure. No disrespect to them.

You guys are really tough. I'm not going to say we were sick bla bla bla because we had a chance to win and we should have. I see you and X in the finals. It would be nice to see you beat them and have a two bid league. You'll be the top 3 or 4 of the a-10 every year, with Umass, and every year we are going to play tough games like that. It's going to develop into an exciting matchup if not rivalry. You better make the field cause if you don't and you happen to get us in the NIT, we're gonna bring it for some payback.

This is true. Wicked bad timing. No excuses though. The guys will be ready to go. I think it's going to be another grinder. I'm not the "you guys will be tired" "we're sick", etc, etc. Hopefully our best performance shows up and the if they do, as they have so many times this year, then we should get the W. If our best game isn't there then I want us to gut out a W like we did against you a few weeks ago.

The first thing I would have done if I showed up was remind me of the first round on the tourney going back to 98, I believe it was. Larry Hughes was shut down by Mike "the white blanket" Babul but we still got stung. We owe you a nice drubbing still. Hence, Saturday evening!

I figured as much. I personally think it's fine. I like to see a little excitement and some rivalry, even if at times it's childish and brainless. All at the Umassboard I'm sure would welcome you guys to the a-10 and tell you good luck except when you play us. To answer the a-10 scdeduling question: Ask most and they will tell you it is pisspoor management by the bigs. Linda Bruno's name might come up but scheduling is also the responsibility of the school. In recent passed the a-10 was getting 4 and five teams and it was hindering on a major conference but recently not so much. I think that is why they wanted to bring in St. Lou and Charlotte.

Nobody is trying to be Rick Pitino. If you know anything about the Umass program can you give me your analysis on Ford's performance thus far?
