Your a joke for accepting this crap. He has lost his team and how is that not obvious from todays game? We were outworked for the second game in a row and today the area got to see it. Defense is all about effort and we are getting lit up by sub par teams. I just do not understand how anyone can take a honest look at this team and Brad Soderberg and feel like he is doing a good job. Its all a matter of having good JUCO connections? Your kidding right? How many of the teams in the top 25 get significant contributions from JUCO transfers? We do not recruit, we just look for quality area kids to fall in our lap. Soderberg is saying he does not know the answers, is there anything more you need to hear? He is not getting it done and needs to go.

I have long wondered why people say Soderberg is a great game coach.

Good decision. There are probably a number of high school teams who have better talent on their bench with a decent coach. Those teams likely at least leave it on the court every night and actually play defense. I listened to Brad Soderberg's post game remarks and he admitted that he does not have the answer at this point. Your time is up Brad. You have completely lost your team and it is time for you to start updating your resume.

Get over it already!!!! Brad and the staff landed Lisch and Liddell two years ago, great. They did not choose Saint Louis University because of Brad Soderberg, but they are here. What have we done since then? Are you thru smokin Brad's cock for getting those two area kids into the program. Are you so thrilled with him landing two quality players that you are blind to our current roster and the fact that we are playing with 6 legitimate players and receiving no contribution from the recruits since Tommie and Kevin signed. Just like people said we should give St. Bonaventure, Duquesne, and Temple credit. I am starting to sense a pattern here with sub par teams having great shooting games against the Bills, do you think it may be the defense? Of course not, we are just catching teams on the wrong day.

Isn't the MVC better than the A-10 in most sports we compete in? I honestly have done no research so I am just asking. I know for a fact it is a better conference for soccer and baseball, whether it be long-term or short-term, and is a better basketball conference today, we will see how long that lasts.

I have been overly aggressive in calling for Brad's head and many posters have defended me and just as many have bashed me. So most of the talk has been extreme negativity versus those who are upbeat and maybe have blind faith so to say. I also posted that it would be in the best interest of Tommie Liddell to jump ship as soon as possible and that really got things going.

I sure am dumb, graduating from SLU with a 3.9 sure is dumb. I am a very disgruntled fan who happens to hear a lot of things concerning the program. I am not going to throw anyone under the bus and that is what you want me to do. I do not need to name names here. Brad Soderberg has lost his team and I will not tell which members of that team have expressed that to me, but suffice to say it not just one. For the sake of the players on the team, I either hope Brad is fired or steps down. I am willing to be the front man in running this man out of town.

Your right I am a coward for not telling you who on the team is not happy with Brad Soderberg as a coach. The funny thing it isn't just one its pretty much the whole team. Soderberg has lost his team and that to me is all that matters in my book. If his own players don't respect him, then who will.

I disagree. We tend to look pretty solid when our starting five is fresh and playing together and I think they can certainly compete with a top 25 team. The problem comes when those guys start getting tired. You put Justin Johnson for Ian or Luke, since he is a guard battling his ass off against legitimate power forwards, and the quality of your drops immensely. Then you put Danny Brown in for Polk and the quality of our team drops even more. Justin Johnson is ###### and he really hurts this team. Danny is often a non-factor scoring the ball while turning the ball over and constantly getting blown by on defense. These two hurt our team a lot. I think I would consider our starting five to be a top 25 caliber group.

I am tired of your excuses of why Soderberg can't get it done. Are you Brad's brother, cousin, neighbor, assistant coach, financial advisor? We have the resources to get it done and five seasons is long enough to wait and see. Brad Soderberg has not gotten it done and there are no excuses for it. He can't coach and he can't recruit, there isn't much else to judge him on. Everyone says he is a great guy, well ask one of his ex-players what they think of him. He has completely lost his players and that to me is when you say enough is enough. I will be calling Slaten and Bernie very soon to voice my displeasure and to get them on board with my movement. It is not hard to get people on board with this, the proof is out there and anyone can see it. St. Louis and Saint Louis University deserves better. Brad, your fired.

Roy, look at Florida. They probably only play seven guys a significant amount of minutes, but four of those guys are first round draft picks and I am sure they have guys on the bench who can at least be productive when called on. SLU not only does not play its bench, but it can't play its bench.

If this is something we are going to do we need to have an answer for who the next coach of this program should be. If we can have a voice in getting Soderberg out, we need to have a voice in who we replace him with.

What donation would that be? I will gladly look into contributing and raising money if that is all that is needed to get Brad Soderberg out of here.

I would have never traveled to Southern Illinois thats for sure. I have read you bash people who complain, but do not donate money to the athletic department and to the school. Shouldn't you and all of those who do donate a significant amount of money to the athletic department be the ones upset with the current state of the program? You are the ones throwing away your hard earned money. You should be the ones calling for answers and looking at Brad Soderberg and saying this is not good enough. I have little to lose in this. I don't give any money to the athletic department and I certainly never will with Brad Soderberg as the head coach. It is easy for me to go to a game watch Justin Johnson run around like a jackass for 10 minutes, see a team with absolutely no bench, see kids play with little to no defensive intensity, and tank to one of the worst teams in the country without really getting that upset about it. I say bring on the losses, it furthers my agenda and that is to get Soderberg out of here. I have been saying it since the end of last year and now people are starting to come on board. If you talk to the average SLU fan or St. Louis sports fan and they will say, that Soderberg needs to go. I will lead the movement, I just need followers. I will make my voice heard to Cheryl and Biondi and whoever else is in a position to get this done. What Brad Soderberg and his coaching staff is doing here is unacceptable and I will not stand for it.

Yeah, I think the rpi has lost a lot of relevance seeing the MVC make a complete mockery of it last year. I am not saying it is not looked at, but it is by no means an end all be all ranking of who is going to get in. I posted the other day how the #1 team in the country has an rpi of 30 and how the top 70 is stocked with the upper half of the MVC. Obviously a solid rpi will not hurt you, but I think people may put too much stock into it.

At least I was able to use my degree from Saint Louis University and the connections of my father to get a great job out of college and can live the life.

If Soderberg remains the coach past this season, I will no longer be a fan of the program. The past games I have been around for, I chose not to attend and I would say I am a very borderline fan at this point. The only reason I even root for them is because I want to see those kids succeed.

I think people are not real happy with the lack of a conference win up in Columbia, but they are very pleased with Mike Anderson and the players seem to really be on board as well. The source you are referring to is taking the wait and see approach before annointing Mike Anderson the saivor, but he is happy overall. Mike Anderson has stirred up a lot of excitement in Columbia. The only current player that I know he has interacted with is Matt Lawrence. Your source would be one of the last guys to hear of player revolt.

I dont want these individuals to spend the next week running line drill after line drill and receive personal attacks from little Napoleon based on what is on a message board. Maybe I can reveal my source when they are out of the program and I would give them the same advice as I would Mr. Liddell.
