  1. When Lidell and Lisch are in their sophomore years while IV is in his senior year with a much improve game... A young team for the A-10, it was a good run , they were expecting us to finish 13th. Signing off!!
  2. What are the implications??...I need some analysis from the superiors..hehe
  3. >What about the Nevada kid...fuh-zee-kiss...sounds foreign to >me. > >I must admit, I agree with Roy re: Ian. Again, i rarely get >to see games on TV being in Denver, but for some reason I >saw a couple of games during Ian's freshman year. I thought >he was a lumbering galoot. Hard work sure shed that >distinction. > >Good for Ian, from galoot to possible NBA'er. Better late than never (although not an NBA potential yet--senior year would be his defining moment)... my point is that we've got lots of untapped potentials from around the globe where we could get unknown but formidable players..
  4. >I know it was a good night as we won, but I do have some >bitching to do. It's not at the team or even the >admnistration. But it's at the students and in particular >the athletes who were there tonight to be honored for their >classroom work. > >During the first half, one could see a decent student >section all in their billiken blue athletic jump suits. At >half time, all the student athletes who made honor roll were >brought out and honored, as they should be. However, once >halftime was over and the play resumed, they all left. I >swear the entire student section except the Blue Crew left >at halftime. > >Are you telling me all those student athletes couldn't stay >an extra hour to watch the end of the game? Is there really >that much homework? Is life at SLU that time consuming? Fact >is, they were probably all in a huge rush to get to >Humphrey's for Penny Pitchers. > >What a joke. SLU students (Blue Crew exempted) are the most >apathetic and lazy group I've ever seen. Half of them would >rather play video games or light a candle (you know who you >are) than go to a game.
  5. the Greek God..If we are the only one we are a way ahead of other teams/school, NBA style..hehe
  6. Would we be seeing an upset?? If Xavier wins, the game would really be interesting on Saturday...
  7. >The Streak Gods are Getting Involved... Lead down to >7....and we cannot score... Break the Mojo...now!!!!
  8. >is da' man! If we can get any production from the perimiter >the rest of the year we've got to be competitive in every >game. One of the most underrated in the whole NCAA..
  9. Does Coach S train these guys to shoot or it's all defense...??
  10. As the AP writers described our team in the almost upset wins with ranked teams, "Pesky"
  11. One of those silent victories that makes it better for SLU as a whole in the long term.. My vision for the future, a Georgetown or a Duke of the Midwest, in terms of sports and academics.. Don't we have a right to dream??...hehe
  12. >conditioned and expecting anyone to play the entire game at >the same level of productivity and quality is a lot to ask. >not many players in the entire country do that. > > >that said, i have never been a fan of spreading minutes to >the point that almost no one is even over 30 minutes a game. > i agree the top players should be able to play at least >that long. For now the best we could do is time management, but I am pretty confident of the team as the season goes on.. I was just thinking what if George Washington played here in Savvis..we could have beaten these guys... Let's just look forward to a brighter future..
  13. >>The team's stamina seems to wane in the ending minutes of >>the game... They've got the skill to win, but this is the >>problem. >> >>Coach Brad should address this... > > >Next time the Bills play notice how the announcer tend to >say things like this, coming into the game from wherever is >6'9 freshman whomever. Our guys are not being outclassed by >the first 5. It's the calvary that is getting our guys. We >just don't have the manpower at this point. I think the best we could do is experiment with different combinations of players keeping at least 2 of the starters then these 2 should be conditioned to play the whole game...
  14. The team's stamina seems to wane in the ending minutes of the game... They've got the skill to win, but this is the problem. Coach Brad should address this...
