Prez, I agree with you, one of the reasons I watch college sports is so that I don't have to watch the downfall of professional sports. I stopped watching the NFL because MOST players seem to do a song and dance number after the have made a play(act like you've made a tackle or touchdown before come on). Not to mention 1) year long NHL lockout 2)the Ron Artest Fiasco 3) MLB=Steroids(need I say more). College sports was the bastion of sportsmanship, and if things like that become commonplace, then it looks like I will have to watch teeball. Morrison's comment IMO was way out of line, and class maybe something he goes to, but it's sure something he doesn't have any of.

Not once did I "jump on your case" While it is true that I respect Roy's opinion much more than yours, I did not attack you. However I would like to return this discussion back to basketball. I just thought the numbers were interesting and worthy of discussion.

I am NOT going to get in this debate with you, I specifically said in my previous post that it was extremely subjective. I am just trying to sponsor a little bit of positive discussion, as opposed to what has been happening lately.

As of a few minutes ago our RPI on midmajority.com was down to 74, putting us in the top 4 of the A-10 behind Temple(35), La Salle(47), and St. Joe's(54). We are actually ranked in front of GW who is close behind at 75. I know that RPI early in the season can vary widely, but as a fan I am excited to see the steady moves up the college basketball ladder. (all RPI c/o midmajority.com)

This whole situation is just not a good one to be in for anyone. Doc is totally correct, if nothing else it is just totally unethical for us to discuss people's grades if it is not public information.

Personally, I believe that player-bashing in your home arena is totally uncalled for. I have monitored this board for several years and MOST of the "player bashing" here on this board is really just personal opinion that gets blown completely out of porportion by others. I am not indicting blue crew or anybody else, because personally I can never hear much at games sitting where I sit, and in fact I thought the "scarcastic" response to LM was genuine in the context that many of us were happy to have him on the court, but perhaps that is just me being the niave fan that I am.
