Owens is completely lost. He consistantly misidentifies players, makes the wrong call on fouls and other mishaps during the game.

During the past two weeks I have watched a couple of practices, the TF I watched was quite different in which you described. He had trouble finished shots within 10 ft. Even in a practice mode he constantly clanked shots off the rim. I wouldn't expect a lot of scoring from Frericks this year.

Saturday's PD had an article that SLU purchased the Waring school for a little over $1M. The schools location is at the'corner of Compton and Laclede.

Some history on the Claiborne feud. A few years back M. Claiborne did SLU color commentary with B. Ramsey on the Billiken broadcast. I believe he was dismissed because of a conflict of interest with his sports agent business.

We could start our own Dogtown Billiken fan club. I grew up in Dogtown, live on Louisville - St. James, CBC, St. Louis U. Followed the Bills since '48. This board has brought back a lot of memories. Esp the 70 ND game. Remember Harry Cary, Jack Buck. et al. Great memories.
