  1. Reggie missed another three; shot bounced and went over backboard. Polk missed a three earlier in the possesion; I believe the Bills are 1 of 10 from three.
  2. Ohanon is up to 18 points; Vouyoukas gave him a nice interior pass for his latest bucket
  3. Earl Austin Jr. said that if the Bills win by less than 22 points, they'll play in the fifth place game. I don't think that's quite accurate. I think that if the Bills win by 11 or more, they'll play in the championship game. Ohanon led w/ 14 points; added 5 boards Bryant is in the game.
  4. If they win by 11, their net margin will be four (11-7), E. Michigan's will be three (14-11), and Austin Peay's will be negative 7 (7-14). We're almost halfway there.
  5. Ohanon hit jumper at the half buzzer, scored 13 in the half. I think Reggie went scoreless in the half. I don't think the Bills hit any threes. Vouyoukas has at least two blocks. Meyer has had some good moments, four points.
  6. Bills now on 13-2 run; Ohanon has 11 points. Meyer and Brown have been hustling.
  7. The Biils have been getting steals quite a bit. Ohanon is running the floor and has seven points. Bills have outscored the Eagles 8-2 of late.
  8. The three-point shooting is horrible; E. Mich. has started playing zone.
  9. Saint Louis did not lose any bad games during non-conference play last year. You must be thinking of the previous year. 2003-04 Non-conference schedule: [pre]Eastern Kentucky w Savannah State w N. Carolina A&T w West Virginia l Arizona l Georgia Tech l Grambling State w Southwest Mo. St. l Butler w Dayton w Kansas State w[/pre]
  10. Those of us in St. Louis will be able to hear it. Perhaps some of us, including myself, will provide some details on the board for out-of-towners. Just don't expect it to be play-by-play, like SignGuy did Friday. It may be more like every few minutes -- like at timeouts.
  11. I agree that, when I read your first post, it felt like you were making rather strong critical statements about Coach Soderberg. We have to remember that, in cyberspace, readers can't detect tone of voice and facial expression. Sometimes the things we mean are the things the reader infers. Most of us were very disappointed, so when we read, "I don't know what Coach was thinking.... I talked to Reg, and he doesn't know what Coach was thinking, either," our reaction is, "Wow, that's a shot!" You probably meant to imply, "I haven't talked to Coach and am unsure what direction he's going, and Reg told me that he hasn't quite fully grasped what Coach is asking for but is still doing what he asks," but many or most of us inferred, "What was Coach thinking.... even Reg doesn't agree with him, but he's still doing what he's told."
