The announcers said all his fouls were fouls and honestly from the TV camera view I agree
Definitely 2 of the first theee were. His first one he was behind Okoro had his left arm wrap around Okoro’s right knee, was pulling on it and reaching out for the basketball with his right arm. Right in front of the ref.
the last one he undercut Picket, who ended up falling awkwardly. It was a foul.

Don't want to take anything away from last night. It was our best 40 minutes in maybe 3 months. But Dayton is worse than I realized.
I wanted to believe this prior to this week, but deep down I probably didn't. But after this week, I really think we can win it all in Brooklyn. We are as good as anyone when we play 40 minutes of basketball. Which i know we don't do enough and that's 90% of the problem. But I think we will in Brooklyn.
We won because of defensive stops and refs that fairly let each team play. Win with defense!

Yet compared to the rest of the SEC, academically Mizzou’s only true peer in that league is Vanderbilt…
What Mizzzou equivalent to Vandy academically….what are you smoking…Vandy is head and shoulders above the SEC Academically…… the rest are equivalent State schools….

Didn't someone - maybe Coach Tate - say something about Gibby coming into this year with a new attitude and toughness, or something to that effect?
What I recall home saying, was that he is different, “like your son just grew up, matured and is more vocal and focused” .

Isn’t Miami one of the teams we may play in the Hall Of Fame Tip-off ?

I suspect the wait is the official granting of the medical red shirt year. He can’t decide to come until he actually is granted that. Technically he has played 4 years and this last year would have been the COVID year.

UAB, Belmont and Auburn were lost for the same reason: they all double teamed Yuri at the end of the ball game and we either turned the ball over or got up a bad shot once we got into a halfcourt set. Once UAB did it, it became pretty obvious to everybody else how to beat us. We were fortunate to have a very soft schedule after the Dayton loss and put some wins together. But If Yuri doesn't go 35 and 13 at Mason, it would have happened again.
But it didn't happen again. And I would like to believe that took a big weight off their shoulders going into the return game with Dayton. We had the Flyers on their heels from jump. They tried to press us at the end but we shook it off like an enraged Hulk Hogan. And even without the adrenaline rush, we did a much better job of handling the ball against La Salle down the stretch. Are we over the hump? I hope so.
I would agree with your analysis, would add that there is a quiet confidence about this team now. They seem to shrug off a missed shot, a turnover or getting behind early, and just play harder. They now that effort will pay off, and it is infectious, like the play against Dayton where Yuri knock the ball away, Hargrove ended up diving on the ground to control it and passed to Gibson who nailed it. Earlier in the season a previous bad play made them more tentative. Perhaps that is wishful thinking but we will see against SB.

Here is maybe a similar comeback. Jordan Morris, USMNT soccer player, tore his ACL in Feb 2021. Eight months later he was back playing with his club, Seattle Sounders, and this week he went 60 minutes in the USMNT match against Honduras. ACL tears differ, athletes differ, but the pathway back to full recovery for Perkins is there.
Yeah sure but was his jump shot the same?

How fun was that! Great heart and determination. Yes there were some poor plays but they fought through it!!!

Boo! If you ever watched the original Brian’s Son as a kid, Sayers has a special place in your heart.
Brian’s Song and Bang the Drum Slowly are still two of my favorite movies. Although they tend to cause the roof to leak above my chair.
a Gael is someone who speaks Gaelic. Or someone who knows how to find Amach, and now’s it is not a place.

Electronically if your a season ticket holder go into your account and the Jan 8 electronic tickets with your seats is already there. My 4 seats with the team and date are already listed.
same for me excellent use of technology. A solid move on SLU's part to get the largest crowd possible.

Cheeseman the point is not whether or not the deer get sick, the issue is the test. Coronavirus has been around forever (dogs, bats, probably deer as you say) but never infected humans. The stuff that infects humans is not the standard bug that infects animals. Is the test we use in people incapable of making the distinction between human and animal bugs, and if this is the case, can it make the can it really diagnose the various strains of Covid going around? Or is this just a generic coronavirus test?
Old guy I would imagine this is confirmed by PCR, which is a very specific test. Therefore they should be able to distinguish it exactly. we will likely be dealing with strains of Covid for years to come. With less virulence but a waxing and waning of this just like Influenza.

Why did Ford remove Nesbitt at crunch time? Please don’t say “defense.” Nesbitt won the game for us in the second half. An ISU friend was impressed with Nesbitt.
I was thinking it was FT shooting team.
as for silver linings, Nesbit producing after disappearing the last two games hitting threes in the second half.

Moser's family is independently wealthy away from basketball. Going to OU isn't about providing for his family. Loyola paid him seven figures annually, and, Loyola offered him a 10 year deal to stay worth $2.2 Million.
OU is in a Power 5 League where schools receive roughly $40 Million annually.
He gets to work with a good AD.
OU has had a lot of good hoops history.
He wants a chance, and, the challenge, to compete at the highest levels.
yeah but the flip side, he was building a program, which could have become a midwestern Gonzaga. Suspect that is why he had a difficult time making this decision.

i believe jacobs has more ability and natural athleticism that will allow him to look for a higher program than most of the mvc teams. wouldnt surprise me at all of he doesnt upgrade himself.
I would not be surprised to see him land a Loyola...
I like Jacobs, he could finish, but was not consistently aggressive enough but when he was he was fantastic.
