This high school girls game is getting alot of attention here in DFW. 100-0 is just sad on both teams behalfs. The one team should've eased up a bit but the other team should've at least scored some. I know how that team feels after SLU's 20 pt. effort last year just demoralizing. The 25 pt loss was pretty bad too. I could see that KM concussion by the way his eyes looked in the game. He should be alright in a week or so.

The announcer said that SLU is scheduled to take the whole team to Australia after next season ends. Good stuff and bodes well for recruting a few more Aussies. PS Nicole Kidman is from Australia. Hey did you guys notice that this game isn't going so well? Someone mentioned on the prediction thread that it was time for Majerus to steal one. When is the last time this team won a game they shouldn't have? Was it at X a few years ago? I can't come up with a big win in a long time. I wouldn't count this game should they miraculously win it as a big win. This game is one where we are certainly big dogs (for you non-sports betting types not picked to win by quite a few points).

I am relaying opinions of a cheerleading/dance team expert (my spouse). Anyway she is dissappointed that we only have a dance team as they aren't very good at cheering ie loud enough. She also thinks they aren't very good dancers. Who cheers while they are getting ready to dance? No one because they are it. However, she does like the uniforms as do I. Most Catholic schools have bad cheerleaders/dance teams so this probably will never change. Also just to get really really deep into the weeds: The T-shirt gun must've been broken last night. I was thinking the same thing but the last minute had so much stoppage that it was hard to get excited about it. As to your previous comment about the Sigma Chis. I think some are usually there, I understand they work concessions from time to time. This is another benefit of the on campus arena student groups can work concessions and get a % for their organization.

Dude you're calling me lame that's where I was. Yes they weren't really cheering that loud but they were there. The guy that was lame was the dude sitting behind me that recounted his whole Christmas break hour by hour day by day and it wasn't really all that exciting. He went to Birmingham, AL by the way. I was just kinda' soaking up the building for a while. Lots of flashing lights and stuff. I do like the four corners scoreboards. However, if you sit up high it is hard to read the stat banner on the opposite wall so I had to turn around and check the FG% and stuff.

It was my first game at the Chai and it was pretty good. I am a student (distance education MS program) so I bought tix on FRI for $10 each then I got to the game and saw the "student entrance". They just wanted to see an ID and didn't swipe it. I don't know what that was about. My only complaint about last night was the parking. I had to park way over by the FOX and walk in the cold but I was running late and didn't take the time to try and find something closer. Where is the best place to park? I don't know why you guys are complaining about the students or the crowd not being into it. While I wish that everyone was a wild screaming fan, that type of atmosphere is rare. There are very few venues that are like that. Those places aren't for teams that haven't made the tourny in 8 yrs. I just went to a game at Texas Tech vs. TCU. It was the first day back for students from break and I thought their arena would be rocking. They have a very nice venue and it is new and larger than ours but it wasn't near full and it was pretty tame. The students get to sit on the side of the court and it was pretty full but nothing special. The rest of the crowd was even more tame. They do have replaying bad calls by the officials down to a science there which SLU doesn't do. So I'm not too concerned about the crowd and actually thought it was good. Mitchell is awesome but what is perhaps more entertaining was the dude (who I'm guessing is his dad) that danced up and down the stairs when he had a good play. SLU turnovers kept GW in it last night because SLU shot 51% and it was still tight. Offense did a good job working the ball around to get good shot selection. Seemed like we gave up a lot of Offensive Rebounds but that could've been due to the 4 guard line up or the clankers bouncing hard off the rim. All in all good experience felt great to be on Campus in our own house.

I'm set got two tix for tomorrow. I'm pumped and hope we can hold them to 19pts.

I clicked on the Be Inquisitive link and it had a test to see what your interests are as in what you should major in at SLU. I got American Studies and Classical Humanities. Political Science wasn't even on my list. I guess I messed up those four years. That's why I still don't get that School House Rock skit "I'm just a bill". I never understand it. I wish I would've taken that test before wasting $130,000.
