kwyjibo
I do NOT think the ECU board has been a particularly reliable board on conference musical chairs (they played up ECU's chances to go to the ACC and Big East when no one else was) but they are reporting that C-USA is looking at Temple as a member (no Central Florida). While I do not think this is true (it makes some sense for football though as Temple has no home) it would really hurt our likely future resting place the A-10. http://bonesville.net/Articles/OtherArticl...3103_Temple.htm
xu95
Temple will not join CUSA in all-sports. If CUSA or MAC is willing to take them for football only they might do that, but they will not join in all-sports. xu95
cheeseman
How does Temple going to CUSA causes us a problem regarding the A-10?
kwyjibo
Basically a mistake on my part, I thought the rumored offer was for all-sports but I just misread the rumor. Sorry about the lack of clarity in my post and the link.
xu95
The offer I'm sure is for all-sports. What I'm telling you is that you don't have to worry about Temple leaving the A-10 for CUSA if they have to take all of their sports. Temple has invested too much in the A-10 to take a "step down" for their basketball program. Now if the BE wanted them to join in all sports than we might have a problem. But that won't happen either. xu95
