it has been reported here by numerous insiders that powell has been offered. coach soderberg is prohibited from making any such public announcement. my question is why hasnt powell verbally accepted?

After doing a little research, I made a list of several prospects that should be on SLU's radar screen for 2007. Most of these players are within the region. Also, there are no prospects on this list that are being recruited so heavily that SLU would appear to be a lesser program. Most of these young men will end up at a D-1 program and some will be at high major programs. Hopefully, SLU can get out to those tournaments and camps and get a look at some of these prospects. I've talked to a lot of kids from the local AAU teams and only one guy could recall ever seeing a SLU coach in the crowd.
