BradFan
It is so painful to have a young team. In more cases than not, their mistakes will cost you the game. This is especially true when you have to rely on inexperienced guards. Take it easy on Tommie...his shooting is certainly his liabiiity at this point, but that will get better with age and confidence. We already see KL getting better at it, and suddenly DB is our scorer. More pain to come, be assured, but there is a payoff down the road. Maybe not that far away. The comeback the boys made in regulation tonight (after Rammer wrote them off) was impressive, and may be the best takeaway from the game. Brad said it all, they played hard but they played poorly, yet nearly pulled it out. It's coming.
AlumniFan
...it is VERY disappointing to hear that he wrote them off before the end. I really like Ramsey, but I am getting sick of his immaturity.
SShoe
You're right, and we're just being impatient, but when you see games like this it's tough. It'll eventualy happen for us.
billiken_roy
our youngsters did fine considering. imo, the game was lost because we got back last year's versions of ian and justin. granted pops and hall are good players, but if we get anywhere near top performances from ian and justin we win that game. that said, it sure didnt help that a 5th grade girls team could have shot free throws better than that. that is a tough loss that imo will haunt us. everyone has harped on outside shooting and imo danny brown and lisch made more than what anyone would have expected. that game was there for the taking and we didnt rise up. i am pretty damn tired of morale victories.
