davidlee
I saw just the end of regulation and OT. All I can say is Marquette's freshman point guard next year better be real good or they are in for a long season in the Big East. They turned the ball over 20+ times. Numerous times at the end of regulation and OT.
jg99
Marquette will be lucky to win 6 games in Big East next year.
Taj79
A freshman point means a foot and a half in the bucket to start with, see "Polk, Dwayne." Everyone will tell you that. And a JUCO point means not much more ..... Jihad Muhammed was the top PG in the nation's JUCO ranks and a lively debate could be initiated over his effectiveness this season. Also, Steve Novak is way too soft as a 6'10" three man in the Big East. If a 6'2" Drejaj can push him around, what will a Rudy Gay, Josh Boone, Chris Taft, and others do to him night in and night out? DePaul might be able to pull in enough Chicago athletes to compete but I can't see Marquette doing it. Short of Wade, what has Crean wrought in Milwaukee anyway? Cincy and Lousiville will do fine ... but it won't be the walk in the park that they've had in CUSA to date.
