Bonehead turnovers are just that regardless of the effort the player puts out. No one ever questioned Anthony's heart nor desire. He did an amazing job on Novak today. Some poster just recognize that IV is the most skilled center SLU has had in a long, long time, with two more season to play. IV is not going to get much quicker, and he is not going to jump any higher, and he is never going to look like a life-time member of Gold's Gym.....but SLU would be in deep ###### without him. I just spent two days at the Savvis watching all of the MVC tournament games and all ten MVC teams play. cheeseman Posted March 6, 2005 Share Posted March 6, 2005 JJ - you are correct. A bonehead play or pass is still a bonehead play or pass even if the player is a star on the team. The problem with a bonehead play is that it typically comes at a very inopportune time in the game and typically becomes a big momentum shift for the the other team.
