Nate Latsch Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 East St. Louis grad and Saint Louis University signee Tommie Liddell will be playing two basketball games in the St. Louis area this weekend with his Hargrave Military Academy team. Hargrave, which has seven Division I signees, will play Niles West from Skokie, Ill., at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Best of the Midwest Shootout at The Family Arena in St. Charles, and will play Chicago's Austin Academy at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Vashon. Hargrave is currently 7-0 and the 6-foot-5 Liddell has played well while playing three different positions: point guard, shooting guard and small forward. “He’s doing well," said Hargrave coach Kevin Keatts. "Tommie’s definitely a guy that blends in with everybody. He’s made the best of his opportunity of his situation here.†“He’s doing a great job on and off the court for us.†Hargrave forward Shane Clark signed with Maryland, forward Sam Young signed with Pittsburgh and swingman Joe Alexander signed with West Virginia. Niles West is led Southern California signee Sead Odzic, while Austin Academy features 6-9 Mississippi signee Marquis Young.
