almaman
Has any of our mystery recruiters been visiting Loogootee, or sending beats and raps braggin' on the Lou to this Karazsia chap in Linton?
bbtds
Loogootee Lions of Martin County? I do know someone who's son will be playing on the Shoals Jug Rox, also of Martin County, varsity next season. That's is back in the hollar near Springs Valley, Orange County, French Lick and West Baden Springs. A very interesting area with a lot of bootlegging and prohibition history. Of course the biggest export over time was springs water which was full of lethicin. Which was eventually ruled illegal about 1970. Now you know why Larry Bird seems so happy all the time! Today it's mainly used for gambling and resort facilities, golf courses and such. Al Capone and his Chicago mobsters spent a lot of time in Springs Valley drying out and taking in a lot of lethicin. Now you can get a good wiff of the sulphur that permeated the springs water during the 20's and 30's when you smell the well in back of the French Lick Resort Hotel.
