BLIKNS Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 Looking at the local paper today, said the Atlantic Sun is eyeing Northern Kentucky as it moves to D1. The school had discussions with the Ohio Valley , and they declined offering membership because ,concerns of competitive balance. Some institutions felt UNK has geographic recruiting advantages,and competitive fundraising could result in dominating the conference. UNK built a 69.9 million arena that seats 10,000. I just found this odd, I would think you would want a program with this desire. I think Dustin Mcguire transfered from SLU to UNK. Said they are also looking at the Summit League as well.
