Much of that can attributed to the natural development a defensive lineman usually takes to the NFL, but if you're that high of a pick, you want the guy to be able to come in and make positive contributions right away IMHO. You're right about that. Many of the same things were said about Dorsey, but having watched Suh a bunch of times this year he's one of the most dominating defenders I've ever watched.
