Fanbase

I'm not sure how many people have heard of this yet, but it was new to me when I read the NY Times article this morning. There's a fairly new website called Fanbase ( http://www.fanbase.com/ ) that aims to be the definitive source of information for all teams and athletes, regardless of how well-known the sport, team, or individual athlete may be. Naturally, SLU men's basketball was the first team page I checked and it's woefully inadequate at this point: http://www.fanbase.com/St-Louis-Billikens-Mens-Basketball

For an example, the Times article used the Dallas Cowboys' page: http://www.fanbase.com/Dallas-Cowboys

I wouldn't expect us to ever reach a level that only insanely obsessive Cowboys fans can create, but if this site is actually going to become a Wikipedia or IMDB-style publicly created and monitored authority for quick and easy information online, we probably need to step up our game. I haven't registered yet but might do so soon. Has anyone else heard of this? Is it useful or just another unnecessary player in a crowded market?

Also, I wouldn't want nor expect the forum on there to ever replace this one.
