davidnark Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 How much incremental cost is there to add a game preview that will probably take up only a quarter or third of a page? I ask the question because the paper has already sunk the cost of writing the preview that they post on Tom's stltoday.com blog. Has the cost cutting got so bad that they would rather save the cost of the hard copy print space than provide thorough and credible sports journalism for anything not related to the Cardinals or Rams? I am not one of these guys that believes the post has any obligation to cover SLU, but it seems like crappy journalism to elect not to print articles on the only local D1 team in college basketball.
