There is no sensible theory

except for the fact that someone is telling Cheryl/ Biondi what to do. There has to be a big donor who is pulling the strings. The funny thing is that all I have heard around Campus is that a big time booster was behind this, but Doc says thats not what he is hearing. My friends in the Athletic department were stunned, players were stunned, coaches were stunned. There were no signs that Brad was going to be canned this late in the season. If Biondi was going to fire him, he would have done it the minute the season was over. Biondi is all about the bottom line and he is a smart enough man to figure out that this isn't the most opportune time to get rid of your HC.

The only thing fishy is that we haven't had anything like this occur with boosters before. The fact that some people are completely discounting the booster idea is ridiculous. Father Biondi did not just wake up Monday morning and decide Brad had to go on his own.
