billikenfan05
The first thing biondi and CL need to do is go to TL and KL and tell them they want their input before they make a decision on a coach and make sure they like him before they make any decisions "I was on fire, I was hotter than a pistol" Jason McElwaine If theres no SLU basketball in heaven I'm not going!!!!!! Battlecat455
Sure. The players should pick the coach. Great idea.
billikenfan05
I didnt say for them to let them pick just to get their opinion on a candidate "I was on fire, I was hotter than a pistol" Jason McElwaine If theres no SLU basketball in heaven I'm not going!!!!!! The_Overachiever
If I'm not mistaken, TL and KL would still have time to transfer before next season if they have problems with the new hire. So why not include them in the process. Not necessarily choose the new coach but at least have some input. I don't see how the AD could not cater to the cornerstones of the program for the next two seasons.

I don't see how the AD could not cater to the >cornerstones of the program for the next two seasons. you can't do that because this hire has to be one that focuses on the long term health of the program, not the next 2 years. Michigan State let the players opinions influence the hire of Bobby Williams when Saban left, that was a disaster for the program (the inmates ended up running the asylum). We'll see what happens with K-State who did that to save a recruiting class, most of the time those kinds of hires don't work out. What the administration and new coach need to sell to Tommie and Lisch and all of the other players is that they signed on with Saint Louis University, not Brad Soderberg. Hopefully they can do that. billikenfan05
TL and KL are obviously going to be cornerstones for the program under the new coach they have to stay! Let them at least give their 2 cents "I was on fire, I was hotter than a pistol" Jason McElwaine If theres no SLU basketball in heaven I'm not going!!!!!!
