Bay Area Billiken
Now is not the time to panic. That will just make things worse. The coach is not going to be fired during the season. Even Ron Ekker finished the season after announcing his resignation. The focus now must be on these next two home games against LaSalle and Dayton. Both are winnable games. Both are must win games for SLU. Then comes the road game at UMass, followed by another winnable home game against Richmond. So absent an upset, SLU should be 18-11, 8-7 going into the season finale at Dayton. Is that acceptable? No, but that is the reality at this point. It would be nice steal at least one of these two remaining road games too. Negativism breeds more negativism. The strong teams and coaches rise above this adversity. Forget the past results. Move forward. Win those next 2 at home and go from there.
Westy03
That makes too much sense
WhiteHall_Billiken
>Now is not the time to panic. This is exactly right! We didn't panic when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, did we? Heck no! Thats the great thing about conference tournaments...or the worse if you're the team that misses out on a bid if a team like slu wins. There's been worse teams than the '07 Billikens that won their conference tourney.
