Your definition of mediocre is strange. Our two other bigs are shooting below 45% on 2 point shots. That is unacceptable.
French is double teamed every game because we don’t have a 3 point threat

We are all going to be yelling at each other about this with no official news until Sunday, when Gordon drops 20 points and 10 rebounds in a win. Then you’ll start talking about how you always believed in him and can’t wait to see how he grows over the next 3 years until the next cryptic tweet.
I’ll make a video of my eating my shorts if it happens

Here’s a kid who has been through more than almost any other Billiken and has stuck with it. A true loyal player and local phenom. Still the GOAT who has my upmost respect. A loyal person in this day and age is hard to come by
-
He joined the Billikens. The Billikens didn’t join him. He was given a starting position and plenty of playing time even after a mediocre start to the season.
Loyalty is rewarded. Everytime a player leaves the program the program is hurt. All other players on the team who put in time day in and out are now screwed over by the selfishness of this kid. I have zero sympathy.

F*** you. I’ve lived and breathed Billiken Basketball since age four. It’s the main reason I attended SLU. I have been seriously emotionally invested in this program for twenty years. I’ve been through an unreal amount of ups and downs with this program and this latest blow, if true, is one of the most painful.
I am not a “Gordon fan”. I think many of us saw something like this as a real possibility. I just have an issue with adults calling teenage kids ”dbags”, especially when they haven’t officially even left the program.
Tool and dbag are synonyms. What’s the difference? And he’s an adult and I will treat him like one

Win the A10 without him. Plenty of freshmen looking to play. KC?

Please leave. Leave now.
Why? Because I value players who are loyal to this program? I really don’t understand why this Gordon circlejerk is going on. He hasn’t put up anything that deserves to be nba potential

Personally, no. I’m sure you’re implying there are serious character flaws there.
Unlike you, I’m a fan of this program. For me, I appreciate that he stuck it out through hard times.
Yea you’ll rather attack a fellow fan while trying to defend a kid who just fouked over our program and abondonded us midway through the season. Why don’t you just be a Gordon fan and stop being a Billiken because you obviously choose him over the fan base

You’re the f****** tool. Can you transfer and we will keep Gordon?
Well like I said either Gordon is going or not. If he is going he isn’t a Billiken anymore. If you think he doesn’t know he started a dumpster fire with that tweet and just hasn’t checked his phone you’re as dumb as a rock. If the kid isn’t leaving all he has to do is respond. It’s been over 3 hours.

Also, as of 15 minutes ago, his Twitter description still said SLU commit
For me it says in gods name I play

If he goes Ford should block it. Too many bad people in his ear. SLU is the best thing for him. These kids need to go to church
-
First off Gordon hasn’t shown anything that he deserves to go pro yet. Second why transfer now before conference. The kid picked us a long time ago.
I do remember people saying here that he never got along with teammates on his high school teams

Why is Travis burying Raboin on the bench? We need that guy on the floor. WTF is going on? :sarcasm:
KC and Thor are pretty decent shooters

Are our best shooters on the bench??

Anyone else want Arby’s

Let’s continue the undefeated streak at home

We had an unused scholarship available when he committed in December. He would’ve sat out a year following his transfer by the next January and been eligible to play. Playing at all in the second semester would've burned an entire year of eligibility. Not trying to be a d!ck, but what is so hard about all this?
Because it’s confusing?

Seriously, do you not read any posts on the board that are not in direct response to you?
scholarships are yearly, NOT per semester
Wait then why was Ty graves going to play at semester last year before the sit 2? Wasn’t he eligible after December

I thought the consensus was that SLU doesn't have a scholarship available for a mid-year transfer.
Santos?

Maybe he can pull a mark smith and claim hardship

if that team is worse than us which I hope is the case why would we be interested in him if he can't get minutes with them? I know we coveted him when he came out of HS but we've been getting higher caliber players since then.
New coach. He was also rookie of the year and picked top A10 player

What’s best for a kid like Gordon is staying at SLU. You think a kid with no other skills outside basketball can bank on a pro career? He’s one career ending injury from going back to the street he grew up on without a free college degree and all the support in the world. What’s best for him is an education
