I been thinking if the RM thing gets done we will get a lot of national attention next season. We need a tradition all our own. JJRay's "The Fetz" nickname got me thinking how about the fez. It is something no other program's fans I know of wear. When we move in the new building they could be called "the Fetz's Fezzes(sp)". Why was the Ashley Judd post removed? Rick is the one who stated he is a big fan of hers. Is it anymore offensive than the post comparing RM and Spoon to a cartoon caricture? I don't see how either are offensive. Hell there has been racist cr*p posted on here the hasn't been pulled. Are we not allowed to have any fun on here when it gets slow?

This is all done, but the presser. That is barring one of Majerus's frequent changes of heart. Got to give Chaifetz a ton of credit on this. I am hearing the whole Majerus thing was all him. He became convinced it could be done by Dick Verscase(sp). Dick has been helping him explore the purchase of an NBA team. No matter what ANYONE says, this move was all him. All the denials are to protect him if it should all back fire. Even if it doesn't work out with Rick, I am convinced a legit coach will be hired soon. This whole process, no matter how bad it started out, has made SLU now a player.

Majerus wouldn't meet with the players till he actually is the head coach. They will not have announced it by then, but if Majerus meets with the players he is the next coach. It will be a done deal at that point.

You are right about Newborne for some reason I thought he was a juco all-american. I went back and checked he was not.

With some of the names that have legitemate interest in this job, somebody (Chaifetz?) has made it clear that SLU will do what is needed to be a top program. This is the most encouraging thing.

And guys with the rep that is being laid on RM always play those guys well.
