Must read for V Time. If the two players highlighted in this article, who appear to be ok players and good kids, lived in St. Louis you'd be all over UB to offer. Read this, you'll see it's not always so cut and dried. What was interesting was the asst coach saying "we've offered 3 kids at your position, and we're taking the first two who commit." Not hard to see why the kid took it on the spot since there weren't many others showing interest. Got to figure SLU does the same thing, however, we must be after much better players, since no one's aceepting our our open offers on the spot.
