davidnark
I didn't realize that Tuesday night's game is being played at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, not on West Virginia's home court. How did Brad manage to negotiate that game? This should significantly increase our chances.
Billiken Law
A few years ago when WVA's arena was being cleared of asbestos they played all of their home games in Charleston and they continue to play a few games each year there. Like St. Bonaventure does in playing in Rochester, they are trying to expand their fan base by doing this. I doubt Brad had a thing to do with this. WV_Billiken
Don't you believe that this is a neutral game site. Ask Florida who came into Charleston last year ranked in the top 5 and came out a loser to WVU. There will be 10,000 fans in the Civic Center tomorrow night and almost all of them will be cheering for the Mountaineers. WVU will make it noisy with their cheerleaders and pep band. WVU is a young team and returns five starters and no seniors. They can be very good or very bad. WVU has several good 3 point shooters, especially their 6'10" forward, Kevin Pittsnogel. They have a slashing 2 guard by the name of Drew Schifino who could give the Bills fits. They also have a foreign connection in 6'6" Johannes Herber. He's the Chris Sloan of WVU. These are the main guys to watch; others are Tyrone Sally a young 6'7" forward, D'or Fischer a center from the JV ranks and of course Patrick Beilein, the coach's son. SLU can win but they must play tough defense. WVU has some height but their big guys don't carry much weight, so SLU needs to push them around inside with Fredericks. Defense and rebounding will win this game for SLU. Don't get in a shoot-out with these guys.
