Billikan Posted October 23, 2004 Share Posted October 23, 2004 At the Billiken Club meeting on Monday the comments seemed to indicate that we would sign a really excellent high school "big" in the fall if we believed he would be a perfect fit for the future. It was also suggested that we would save one schollie for a juco big man and that the coaches would evaluate the team at the end of the season to see if we needed the immediate help from juco or if we felt we could go with a high school player with potential. Part of the decision will be based upon whether JJ would ever return to the team and live up to his responsibilities. At most, I would think we might sign one player in the fall other than Tommie and Kevin. From my point of view, just signing those two players means we have had a fantastic recruiting year!!!!!!!!!
