If your overall grade is B+ the chances for an at large bid will be about 33-40% to receive that bid..If it ended today....then 1 of the 3 B+ teams would go...probably Rich or RI....If it ends like the trending column (5 teams) then 2 will go. The wild card is if someone other than Day wins the A-10 tourney. The best chance for SLU to make it.... 1. Have VCU beat Duq on Tues....I have VCU by 8. 2. The Bills win the next 2 games and finish 4th. 3. Win the next 3 and get the auto bid. In that scenario, if the Bills finish second in the A-10 tourney then the at large chart kicks in....if there are 3 teams with B+ then 1 may be Dancing. A-10 bid chances...I have said during the season that 2 teams are likely ...3 teams are possible and 4 teams is a stretch...I will continue to go with that statement. Say we beat Dayton and then lost in the final, do you think the win over Dayton would increase our at large chances significantly? Thanks. Yes, that would increase our chances....As I mentioned in the above post , we need to get to B+ to have a chance....Unfortunately, wins over GM and St. B while necessary to keep the drive going will not get us to B+... a win against Day will get us to B+ and a 40% chance to get an at large bid....Why not just win the last game and make the chances 100% since we will probably play a team we have beaten already (Rich or RI.) But first things first ...we need VCU to beat Duq Tues to be in control of our own 4th place destiny......VCU over Duq by 8. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
