Basketbill Posted November 15, 2003 Share Posted November 15, 2003 I know some of you wathc the Marq. v SJ and Memphis games, I would agree they were slppily played games. While I would say there was nothing that intimidated me about any of those teams, what stood out was Deiner.....he really is a crafty handful.... While I watched him I wondered would we put fischer or Drejaj on him. I would agree with many who seem to state that Merrit and Novak are not ready to become the man.....While the rest of the season remains for them to step up two things struck me. 1. Wade made everyone around him better!!! Novak got better shots etv.... 2. If Liddell is as good as Wade, then I think we are one more recruiting class away from a multi year winning team....ie making the tourney three out of four years or five out of six..... Moreover if you saw the St. Joseph's v Zags game two very good teams, a little more impressive, but still not intimidating.
