Weird that the Iona/BYU play-in game is a #14 seed. If they are relegated to a 14 seed, should they have been given an at-large to begin with?

No it doesn't make sense. The last at-large teams should be 12's or maybe 13's.

Colorado as an 11 is a joke too.

Apparently BYU has a policy that they will not participate in athletic events on Sundays. So, to accommodate them, the committee had the play-in game be for a #14 seed rather than a 12, since they were part of the last 4 in. Seems like Iona got the short end of the stick with that situation, IMO. Now, if they beat BYU, they have to play a 3 seed rather than the typical 5 seed (or 6 if they had the play-in game be for an 11 seed, like one game was last year.)
