These two leaders (along with former classmate KM) have brought this program out of mediocrity and back into relevancy on a level that hasn't been seen since Larry Hughes. Although Cassity has taken his share of lumps on this board from everyone, he showed last night that he is a leader. He refused to mess with team chemistry. He has accepted a lesser role after coming here and starting 85 games throughout his career. His minutes have been halved at this point. A lesser player would have pouted and bitched. Every team in the country could use a Kyle Cassity. Conk has been a beast throughout his career. One of my favorite Billikens. A fitting way to go out of Chaifetz last night, putting up 23 and 6. Dominating inside in the 2nd half against guys with 4-7 inches on him. I would love to see the letter Majerus penned that swayed him so much that he didn't even visit the campus.
