As a member of the basketball team at Saint Louis, Diener ranked sixth on the program’s career three-point field goals made list with 124 by the time he graduated, good for a 40 percent clip from beyond the arc. During his junior season, Diener was named the team’s Most Improved Player. Adding to that, he was also a part of a Saint Louis program that participated in one National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Tournament and in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) twice during his time as a Billiken.
