tseugnekillib
Evidently, the Billikens miracle comeback last Friday was the last straw for Coach Ray McCallum as he will be replaced as Houston's head coach. The Texas A&M coach has to be next. Both coaches were highly successful at the previous schools (Ball State and Charlotte). Obviously, that move up the coaching ladder to the big dollar job comes with great risk.
TheBand
Read somewhere last week that both Larry Eustachy (of Iowa State and Mizzou post-game basketball party fame) as well as Nolan Richardson (Arkansas and "I didn't deserve to be canned" fame) have inside tracks with solid contacts within the Houston athletic department. Will be interesting to see who gets that job. McCollam wasn't there terribly long and he followed the Clyde "the Glide" Drexler experiment.
