GOSLU68 Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 In late sixties our colors on uniforms were blue or light grey; later in 1990's as shorts got longer we were red/white/blue if I remember correctly; I always thought the blue/grey combination was cool. Who decides what colors are used and most schools especially those with football memorabilia to sell are pretty traditional about keeping their colors. I believe in the fifties SLU might have had only male cheerleaders-correct me if I am wrong I was very young, then Anyone that could elaborate would be appreciated; speculation will be tolerated just like free advice.
