I know these highlights have been posted multiple times but I’m posting them again.
When was the last time we had a pure athlete of this caliber? He’s a guard/wing who is almost hitting his head on the rim on some of these dunks and blocks.
I can’t wait to see him play. Side note, does Foreman now have to be DJF? Or is Jacobs DMJ?
Love the dunks, but what impresses me is his body control on the ones that he isn't able to dunk. He's keeping the ball out of danger and laying in some really difficult finishes. He won't always be able to throw it down at the college level so those crafty finishes will come in handy.

He was recruited out of high school, right?

i don't either, his shot looks like Polks.......
He may need to re work that jumper, but every time I've seen him play he's impressed me. Has a little Mike McCall Jr. in him the way he glides into the lane. He plays hard and with a chip on his shoulder. If Ford got him to buy in defensively he could be a dangerous 2-way guard in college. Would love to see a commitment from him.

Can you post where you're getting this information from?

He had 24pts 12reb 8blks in his first game of the year
8 Blocks is an absolutely ridiculous stat for a high school basketball game.

Interested to see if the St. Louis boys from EIU have big nights on their homecomings. Casey Teson and Cornell Johnston were ballers in high school. Watched Cornell Johnston singlehandedly beat a solid McCluer North team. I'm also fairly sure Teson broke some three point records in high school and on the AAU circuit.

You should see the facilities at Wyoming. Pretty top notch from what I understand. It is still Wyoming though.........

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but Coach was on 1120 yesterday morning. Two maybe new, or interesting topics not covered in other interviews. First, he wants to press 94 feet and be an up and down offensive team. To me that will be a challenge with the short roster we have.
Second, when asked, he said, 'Yeah, I'm probably the best three point shooter on the team'. But then he said that of course Crawford can hit the three, but added that Zeke and Jalen have also demonstrated they can stroke it. I was not aware that Johnson had that range.
Just clarifying, who claims to be the best three point shooter on the team?

Ah, the fascinating sport of reading tea leaves and interpreting rumors...
My exact thoughts.

From what I can understand, McGinty has been telling the team to come out an play defensive and let the other teams hold possession, so we can counter attack. In my opinion this is ridiculous. Especially to do this at home against an opponent we should dominate. From what I have heard a lot of the players are frustrated with the style of play, lack of possession and the fact that once we get the ball, we are instructed to just play long balls. I really think this team is talented and McGinty is taking all that away with his ridiculous playing system. After a few years of no creativity and direct play only, I'm about ready for McGinty to get the boot.

The billiken is not going to hurt recruiting, that's ridiculous. Also, no one is saying that the focus should be on addressing this monstrosity over focusing on winning basketball games, that's an equally ridiculous statement.
However, different than other schools/programs, our mascot has a direct correlation to the perception of what the hell a billiken is. If you didn't know what Mizzous mascot looked like, you could take a pretty good guess based on knowing that it's a tiger. If you don't know what a Billiken is supposed to look like, you now have this dumpster fire to guide you along. A school has every right to change the image of their mascot, but the legacy of what it is should not be modified.

On the video are Bishop, Johnson, and Moore, right? Moore 6'6" looks taller than Johnson, who is listed at 6'7". Could be just the way the video was shot.
I went to high school with Zeke. His sophomore year he was a legit 6'4. I've seen him on campus since and he's definitely at least 6'6. So I'm guessing zeke is listed at height or below. And Jalen is listed a little taller than he actually is, a la Milik Yarbrough

We've seen this situation 1000 times. The player isn't really interested in SLU but he wants to be recruited by them

They were 8-7-2 last year.
What makes you think they will be better this year?
I love it when people say but the schedule has been hard. You lost three of those hard games.
What happens when they lose to unranked teams this year?
We underachieved the last few years. McGinty is a sub par coach and doesn't seem very nice. But let's just wait and see how the Atlantic 10 season goes. Say they only lose one game on the road. I would say that's a pretty okay record. After playing such good competition I could very well see us having a good conference record. Maybe I'll be wrong, but I hope not.
-
You do realize Tulsa and Marquette are the only unranked teams we've played. I'm not ecstatic about our record either, but we've played some possible final four teams in Wake Forest, Louisville, North Carolina, and Denver.
-
How did we get so behind on Ramey? I feel like he's been a no brainer recruit since he's been in high school.
-
First half we looked a little slow and uninterested. Picked it up a bit after we brought on some subs. Second half was much better. Played with a lot of energy but couldn't finish. Finally tied it up in the 86th minute. I would say we had the better run of play in overtime as well, but eventually just looked out of energy. Pretty anticlimactic match overall.

He looked fine in the Aug. 31 practice video.
Definitely. My guess is there was soreness so they just had him pick up the crutches until it goes away or something along those lines.
-
Saw Crawford in the Business School today. He's back on crutches without the boot. Hopefully just precautionary.
-
I'm pretty sure the direct comparison was Andre Miller. Who just contributed in a playoff game as a 40 year old.
-
I just wonder how good he could have been if Rick was his coach.
-
He was just on campus last night I believe shooting around in Chaifetz

Just an article I stumbled upon while looking the kid up. Interesting points he talks about. Figured Travis Ford was definitely using the " I run an NBA style offense" as a recruiting tactic. Also interesting to see he expects to play soon.

Did you just associate living in St. Charles County or "West" as "doing well" as if no one can do well living in the city?
